Tennis: Miranda Ramirez’s Journey To Syracuse
Freshman Miranda Ramirez grew up traveling from place to place for tennis. Born in Oregon, Ramirez’s family then moved to Mississippi and then Texas. Miranda on the other hand went off to Florida, Texas and then France to play the sport she loved.
In January, Ramirez decided to finally settle down in Syracuse. It was a different experience coming to Syracuse for Ramirez as she grew up home schooled in front of a computer screen and always playing by herself, but she now attends big lectures and has a team always supporting her.
In only her first season as an Orange, Ramirez is 15-3 at singles and plays at the number one spot for both singles and doubles.
