On Saturday, April 16th, students and alumni gathered at Skybarn on Syracuse University’s South Campus to celebrate another year of excellent sports, news, and entertainment programming. About 115 current members and 15 alumni gathered to recognize achievement at CitrusTV throughout the 2015-2016 school year.
Alumni were also invited to tour the studio, sign CitrusTV’s alumni wall, and even offered their time to participate in panels and critique sessions aimed at helping current students find jobs, improve their resume reels, and prepare for careers in the television industry.
News, Sports, and Entertainment department heads gave out awards to their staffs for excellent work throughout the year. Gabriella Rusk, class of 2016, was awarded the CitrusTV Lifetime Achievement award which was presented by past Lifetime Achievement Award recipients, Wes Purvis (’10, G ’12), Christina Orazio (’11) and Nick Cardona (’15).
