Syracuse Football disappoints in 38-3 loss to Duke

In sports, life can come at you fast. One moment you’re going on the road to battle an ACC opponent and coming away with a double digit win. The next, you’re coming back home to the JMA Wireless Dome, for a sold out crowd of over 40,000 people and you fall flat on your face. In Syracuse Football’s 38-3 loss to Duke, quite frankly nothing went well. The offense couldn’t move, the defense got slashed, and special teams set the Orange behind the chains almost every single time down the field.

The main takeaway from not only Fran but also the players was execution. You have to be able to play complementary football to pick up wins in the ACC. The next opportunity for Syracuse to do just that comes next Saturday when the Orange travel down to Dallas to take on SMU. Kickoff is set for 3:30.
