This past Friday, our executive staff had the opportunity to meet with John D. Beck (’95) and Ron Hart (’92). Beck and Hart are the current Executive Producers for Disney Channel’s Liv and Maddie show. They also worked as writers for According to Jim, thus explaining the mystery of the signed poster hanging up in our newsroom!
While at UUTV, Beck and Hart worked in the Entertainment Department on the former show called “Null and Void”. They both graduated from the Newhouse school as Television, Radio, and Film majors and now live in Los Angeles, CA.
We enjoyed their visit and hope they liked seeing all the changes that have been made to the station since their time!
