Former Whitman School of Management Dean Kenneth Kavajecz pled not guilty to patronizing a person for prostitution Thursday night at the Salina Town Court. The hearing began at 5 P.M, and Kavajecz and his attorney Louis Mannara arrived roughly around 8:15 just seconds before being called by Judge Paul Carey.

Kavajecz was abruptly removed from his position of Dean of the Whitman School on September 14th. Syracuse University students were given no explanation behind the change in leadership. It came out two days later that Kavajecz had been charged with patronizing a person for prostitution. His arrest was one of eight in a large sting operation conducted by Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police.

Kavajecz’s next court date is scheduled for November 17th at the Salina Town Court on 201 School Road in Liverpool.
