Course Feedback Surveys Are Now Open

By Zach Richter

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The end of the spring semester is just a few weeks away which means the course feedback surveys are now live on blackboard. Surveys are open through May 27th and help give professors advice on how to improve their class in the following semester. However, not all students fill out these surveys.

Junior Brandon Mintz says he only fills them out when he is required to do so.

“I fill them out when the professor says we could get extra credit for them or if we have class time to do it, I typically don’t if it’s on my own time,” said Mintz.

Professor Brent Royer says he always encourages his students to fill out these surveys.

“If they feel like there’s something I could be doing to improve the experience for them then I want to hear it and hopefully that might be something I implement down the road,” said Royer.

Freshman Alexis Karlin says she always fill out the forums because she thinks they are important for her professors.

“I think that their really beneficial for all of us as a community and especially for the professors because it helps them get feedback on their performance on their classes,” said Karlin.

All students who fill out these surveys will remain anonymous.
