No. 14 Syracuse falls to No. 5 Clemson in battle of undefeateds
Syracuse held an 11-point lead with 13 minutes remaining on the road against No. 5 Clemson. Tigers Head Coach Dabo Swinney inserted five-star and freshman QB Cade Klubnik and the rest was history. Clemson scored 14 points in two and a half minutes en route to a 27-21 win in Death Valley. It was a game Syracuse should have won. However, inability to take advantage of turnovers, undisciplined play, and an anemic second-half offense doomed the Orange.
