Syracuse brought the brooms out in a 7-0 sweep over Buffalo to improve to a perfect 6-0 on the season. While the singles lineup for the Orange looked very familiar, that was not the case in doubles. After the match, Head Coach Younes Limam detailed his decision to mix up the doubles lineup.

“I think we just want to have as many options as we can. I thought we did a really good job. We know that everybody has been using the opportunities. Everyone can manage and play well with everybody else, so [I’m] really pleased to see them back on track,” said Limam.

A new pairing on display was the duo of Miyuka Kimoto and Polina Kozyreva. The two had a lot of success playing together last season when they made it all the way into the NCAA Tournament for Doubles. We’ll see if that partnership continues going forward for the Orange.

Next up for Syracuse, the competition gets a bit steeper as A.C.C. play opens up on Saturday when S.U. hits the road to take on Boston College at 5 p.m.
