Syracuse Uses Big Second-Half to Pick up Win Against Northeastern

By Carson Fowler | @CarsonFowlerTV

Monday night against Northeastern Syracuse led by just five points at the break but it was a tale of two halves, Syracuse outscored Northeastern by 17 in the second half to pick up a 79 to 57 win over the Huskies. Coach Jack said going into the locker room, lack of energy and effort in the first half, she just had to get her players going in the second half.

“I just think some of that energy that we didn’t have in the first half belonged to me and as a head coach you got to own it and I owned it in front of them and I challenged them in the second half, I challenged myself and my staff and uh we came out and and and responded well”

“I think coming out of Half time we really we all came together and we really like this isn’t what we do so our energy was kind of weird we talked about that and we just came out there and I thought we bought that energy defensively”

“It’s all about team it’s all about us it’s not about another person’s opinion of us we’re going to write our own story as I said last time we’re coming”

Syracuse improves to 71 this season behind a 79 to 57 win over the Northeastern Huskies. Coach Jack and Company returns to familiar territory in the MAC conference to take on the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday at 1:00 for CitrusTV I’m Carson Fowler.
