Syracuse Volleyball Falls 3-1 to Florida State

After winning the second set to even the match, it looked like Syracuse Volleyball had all the momentum. However, from that point on, you can compare Florida State to a Horse with blinders. All the Seminoles saw was the finish line as SU fell 3-1. Despite the loss, after the match. Head Coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam gave full credit to his team’s effort.

“I think I have to give the team a compliment for staying in it and sticking with it and listening to us coaches after all these months and then still trying to implement some of the things we say at least. And fight. I’m really proud of the way we represent ourselves today and the way the team competed. Florida State has a very good team. So for us to stay there and not be fearful and still compete. So I give them compliments.”

“Energy keeps us in it a lot. Even if we are down, the energy keeps us in and gives confidence to each other that we are supporting each other.”

The countdown against the clock counties for the Orange. Syracuse will have 3 more chances to get its first ACC win of the season. Their next chance will come back here next Friday against Boston College. The first serve is set for 6 pm.
