When you run into a brick wall, you have two options. You can either push through it or find a way around it. However, Syracuse Volleyball couldn’t do either in its straight-set loss to Duke. After the match head coach Bakeer Ganasharatnam gave full credit to Duke’s solid game plan but also said the Performance has to be better.
“I mean the numbers don’t lie, you know. If we want to have a realistic chance we need to have better numbers. Better error-to-kill ration. We just had too many errors. Duke did a really good job of sticking to the game plan. Their error margin was really low”. “It was just consistent pressure”. We gotta give credit to Duke. I thought they played a really good game.
The Orange fall 2-16 on the season and 0-8 in ACC play. They’ll have a few days to regroup before they travel to take on Miami on Friday. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
