SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse volleyball (13-11, 5-9 Atlantic Coast Conference) continues to struggle in ACC play.
Sunday, the Orange fell in their fifth consecutive match in a 3-0 sweep to Georgia Tech (13-10, 8-6 ACC)
“Obviously, this weekend, we were a little flat,” SU head coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam said. “There’s no talking around that. We want to do the best we can to recover fully in order to get back to the level we can compete [at].”
Outside hitter Skylar George said the team is weathering the adversity.
“It’s no surprise that the teams in this conference are really competitive and some of the best in the country,” said outside hitter Skylar George. “I think we do a really good job of staying together as a team.”
“We just talked and like, ‘Look. Stay together. Let’s look forward,’ and I think we’re still just as in it as we were at the beginning of this match,” George continued. “We’re going to come out this next week and really go for it.”
SU continues ACC play when Wake Forest (11-14, 5-9 ACC) comes to town for a match slated for 6 p.m.
